The Overall Project
This quarter, we were assigned to create a fake product and sell it like it was shark tank. My group members were Maleah, Devon, and Addy. We created a product called the Realmote. The project took the whole quarter to get everything done. We ended up facing some small obstacles during the creation of the website, because nobody excelled in coding. We did a good job communicating. I learned to be flexible over the course of this project. Some feedback I got was to think about hoe the project would work in the real world and talk louder. The parts we changed were that we were a lot more loud during our final presentation. I feel like I did a good job on my part of the project. I feel like it could've been better but overall I'm satisfied.
Time Management
Time management could've been better for me but I still think I did pretty good. I worked with the commercial and overall I more supervised and refined the website and other things to make sure we were ready for the presentation. I also wrote most of the script.
Areas of Strength
I feel that I have good technical skills and I work with other people really well. I also had a great team and our project went way better than expected. I think this project also helped me to improve the areas that I needed to improve. I think of myself as a well rounded and tolerable group member now.
Areas of Improvement
One of the areas I needed to improve in was communication. We got better toward the end by asking each other for help and helping others when we needed to.
Summary
What I liked most was being able to see how our project turned out. We got to see other group's inventions as well. I would change how we did the website because even though we finished, it was difficult because we didn't know who was doing what. I learned that it is easier to get things done when people are on the same page. I'm going to miss e-comm next year. It was fun.

Braeden Schneider Personality Type
My personality type is INTP. Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Perceiving. It means I try to solve things with reason, and I mostly keep to myself. It also means that I'm interested in theories and abstract ideas, and that I'm interested in solving them. I can adapt to most any situations, and I'm really good at doing things and solving problems as long as they interest me. I can be kind of a jerk, because sometimes I don't realize how critical TOO critical really is.
I feel like this type describes me pretty well. The part about being good at solving problems if they interest me is absolutely spot on. I feel that most of this is spot on, although I am not very complex, I see myself as a pretty simplistic person. My personality type matches people like Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, and strangely, Tina Fey. My personality doesn't explain much of the issues I have with other people, because I don't really have issues with anyone. I figure it's better to make friends than enemies.
I guess in a way, doing this assignment helped me learn more about myself. It was kinda fun to see what I got. I figured out my type is fairly rare too. It only accounts for 3-5% of the U.S. population. I learned about what I was good at, and what I can do to better myself. I hope one day, I can have a well rounded personality and be more understanding.

Graphic Design and Logo Mockups
This time through, we had to design our own logo and put them on various store fronts, phones, trucks, and other things to see how they looked in the real world. I feel like I did good, but I could've done better, I'm just not very creative. I wish that I was, because I like graphic design and art, but I'm a terrible artist and ideas never come to my head. I do believe this is a thing that everyone can improve on though. I'll keep putting in work until I am better at this kind of thing.
We started this process by sketching possible logos. This took awhile for me, but I eventually decided on a very simplistic black and white logo with a kind of inverted design. It felt like a unique design, I've never really seen that in the design world... I'm sure it's present somewhere though. All in all, I'm not that good on pencil and paper but I believe it turned out alright.
Then were the mockups. We placed our logo on different items to demo how they would appear as if they were an actual business. The logo I started with didn't look too good on the mock ups, so I tweaked it a little bit and ended up with the final logo. I removed the lines on the letters and rounded the edges for less of a harsh feel. It ended up with a soft, yet sharp feel. I liked that. I managed to keep it simple but all in all I'm happy with this project.

Oz Poster
This time through, we redesigned a poster for a performance of "The Wizard of Oz". We used contrast, alignment, repetition, and proximity. I used contrast to make the fonts stand out. Contrast is important when trying to catch your reader/customer's attention. I used mainly black and white, because it went fairly well with the color scheme, and the white stroke made the black font stand out. Contrast is always present in good posters or advertisements.
We also used alignment. Alignment is how the words/graphics line up with the other words or graphics. It is typically used to tidy up your work and make it look neater or more professional. The main alignment I used was left to make everything neater, but still pop out. Alignment is important because a messy poster never looks good.
Repetition also plays a big part in graphic design. Things just look cleaner. There's a certain sense of familiarity that comes with repetition, and it's just satisfying for some reason. The way I included repetition was by using one font for smaller, less important words, and one for the ones that needed to catch the eyes of potential viewers.
The last thing we needed to use is proximity. Proximity is where things are placed in relation to each other. Like alignment, it is important to make your works look clean and organized. I used it by making sure things weren't too close or too far away from each other. Ideally, designers need to find that perfect median.

Typography
About the project:
Over the past few days in E-Comm, we learned about fonts, typography and the "anatomy" of a font. We watched a few videos on it, and also learned about why comic sans is the worst font out there. Overall, it was pretty fun, and I learned a lot. It could come in handy if I ever go into graphic design for a career.
What I learned:
I learned about the different parts of a font and what they do to the letter. That's about it.

Color Wheel
Overview:
For this project, we had to make a color wheel. We used primary, secondary, and tertiary colors to hopefully give us a better understanding of different colors in graphic design and where they're used.
What I learned:
I learned about the different colors. It also helped me recognize where famous logos got their color schemes. I feel like I did good.
Conclusion:
If I had to do anything differently, I would've been smarter with my project because it got deleted halfway through, so I had to start over.
