Graphic Design and Logo Mockups

This time through, we had to design our own logo and put them on various store fronts, phones, trucks, and other things to see how they looked in the real world. I feel like I did good, but I could've done better, I'm just not very creative. I wish that I was, because I like graphic design and art, but I'm a terrible artist and ideas never come to my head. I do believe this is a thing that everyone can improve on though. I'll keep putting in work until I am better at this kind of thing.

We started this process by sketching possible logos. This took awhile for me, but I eventually decided on a very simplistic black and white logo with a kind of inverted design. It felt like a unique design, I've never really seen that in the design world... I'm sure it's present somewhere though. All in all, I'm not that good on pencil and paper but I believe it turned out alright.

Then were the mockups. We placed our logo on different items to demo how they would appear as if they were an actual business. The logo I started with didn't look too good on the mock ups, so I tweaked it a little bit and ended up with the final logo. I removed the lines on the letters and rounded the edges for less of a harsh feel. It ended up with a soft, yet sharp feel. I liked that. I managed to keep it simple but all in all I'm happy with this project.
