How To Print a Document: Presented by e9
This quarter we transitioned to video production. Our project was to make a 30 second video explaining how to print a document. First, we did film stills as kind of a rough draft. It was pretty fun, but I would've liked to have been behind the camera. We learned about the different types of shots, and the rule of thirds. It has proven its worth by helping us get better shots over the course of this quarter. We had to make a storyboard, get used to the equipment, and get a feel of our filming location so we could make a good video. We learned how to edit with premier pro and a few good tricks for higher quality videos on an iPad. We were in small groups, and we had to collaborate and work together to make sure we finished the project efficiently. If I had to do it again, I think I would take it a little more seriously. I would probably edit the same though. Overall, this was a good project, but it felt a little dull.
